Coming by bus?:

Many buses pass through the main city centre, and from there it’s a short walk to Lost Horizon. Common bus services into the city centre from surrounding areas include:
Services 8, 9, 24, and 39 pass through the city centre and go towards the Old City area.

Services around Broadmead and The Haymarket: 2, 3, 4, 48, 49 and 71 all serve these stops. Once in the city centre, Lost Horizon is only a short walk away.

You can bring your bike into the venue space and park it outside or leave it in the Yard Bar area at your own risk. Your bike is your responsibility and the venue does not have any responsibility for the bike in or around the venue. 

Train: We are 1 mile from Bristol Temple Meads train station.

Taxi: Taxis are able to drop you off in front of the venue. 

Accessibility:

Lost Horizon is a fully accessible venue. The public areas are set out on a single level with wheelchair access to all areas of the venue. The accessible toilets have ramped access and are designed for wheelchair access. The entrance to the venue has a dropped curb and is at pavement level / step free.

Support workers are allowed free access to the venue. This needs to be arranged prior to the event via info@losthorizonlive.com where a carers pass can be arranged. These are subject to availability / capacity so please ensure you book in advance and contact the venue as soon as possible if you require an access pass.

If you need a dog to assist you within the venue then please let us know prior to the event and we will arrange the correct assistance upon your arrival. We may need proof that the dog is registered with or is a member of Assistance Dogs UK.

Please be aware that strobe lighting, fog and hazer machines may be in use at live shows and events.

Lost Property:

If you have found yourself with items missing at the end of your night, please drop us an email on info@losthorizonlive.com with the date of the event and an item description and we will do our best to get back to you. Alternatively, pop into our office Monday to Thursday between 10am and 6pm and we can help you then. Please bare in mind we are a small team!

We will hold on to lost property items for 3 months only.

We welcome all kinds of art, music, markets, talks and shows into our venue. We can also cater for daytime filming and hire. Please visit the ‘Venue Hire’ section of the website for more information or submit a venue hire form below. We look forward to hearing from you!

Terms and Conditions:

  1. This ticket is proof of purchase of the above event and must be presented at the time of admission.

  2. This ticket is non-transferable and only one ticket is valid per ticket purchased.

  3. Tickets are not to be duplicated for the purpose of falsifying entry. If they are found to to have been duplicated all tickets associated with that purchase will be invalidated without refund.

  4. Refunds are available at the discretion of the Promoter.

  5. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry.

  6. Proof of age may be requested at the venue.

  7. Latecomers may have to wait to be seated / granted access. There will be no refunds for late or non-arrival.

  8. Tickets cannot be re-sold. Re-sold tickets will be denied entry.

  9. The event organiser has all rights to film, photo and video production of this event.

  10. If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances including covid, a full refund will be issued if the event is not rescheduled.

COMPETITION / RAFFLE T&C’s:

For the Raffle to raise funds to support those effected by Storm Melissa in Jamaica.

1. Promoter Details

The promoter of this raffle is Lost Horizon, Bristol.

One person will be selected for each prize included in the raffle. That means there are 24 winners selected. The raffle will close at 4pm on Friday 14th November, and the winners will be contacted over the weekend leading up to the 16th November. If you have not been contacted by Sunday 16th November, this means you have not been selected.

2. Eligibility

  • Entrants must be 18 years or older, and a resident of the UK, at the time of ticket purchase.

  • Raffle tickets may only be purchased online through the Headfirst event listing. There will not be a physical raffle ticket.

  • Even if you cannot attend the event in person, you can still purchase a raffle ticket. 

  • Employees, volunteers, and family members of the organisation committee are not eligible to participate.

  • Lost Horizon reserves the right to limit the maximum number of tickets per person to 1x raffle ticket. 

  • Winners may be asked to provide proof of identity before prizes are released.

3. Ticket Purchase

  • Each raffle ticket costs £10, or £8 if you purchase an event ticket at the same time. 

  • All ticket sales are final - no refunds or exchanges will be given once a ticket has been purchased.

  • Each ticket is numbered and corresponds to one entry in the draw.

  • A valid digital record must be retained as proof of purchase.

  • You must ensure that all contact details are correct at the time of purchase. 

4. The Draw

  • The raffle draw will close on Friday 14th November, using a random selection process. 

  • All tickers bought before the draw will be included. 

  • Winners will be selected at random through a digital selection generator under the supervision of Lost Horizon staff.

  • Winners will be contacted directly via the contact details provided at ticket purchase. We will also post a story to say the winners have been selected on our Social Media platforms. This will be anonymised. 

5. Prizes

  • Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

  • Depending on the prize nature, Lost Horizon will share your contact details with the relevant organisation so they can set up your winnings. 

  • Lost Horizon reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

  • Lost Horizon is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by winners when claiming or using their prize.

6. Collection of Prizes

  • We will contact the winner once the draw has been made. Prizes must be claimed within 15 days of the draw date. We will need this by a written email response. 

  • Any unclaimed prizes after this period will be forfeited and may be reallocated. 

  • All profits from the raffle will go directly to supporting Jamaica in recovery efforts from the damages caused by Storm Melissa. 

7. Fair Play & Legal Compliance

  • Any attempt to tamper with or manipulate the raffle process will result in disqualification.

  • Lost Horizon reserves the right to cancel, amend, or postpone the raffle if unforeseen circumstances arise.

  • Lost Horizon reserves the right to refuse entry or disqualify participants engaging in abusive, fraudulent, or inappropriate behaviour.

  • Entrants must act in a fair, respectful, and lawful manner.

8. Data Protection

  • Personal data provided during ticket purchase will be used solely for the administration of the raffle and prize notification.

  • Lost Horizon will comply with all UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 requirements.

  • Contact details will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.

  • Lost Horizon reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or cancel the raffle. Any changes will be communicated promptly with those who sign up. 

9. Limitation of Liability

Lost Horizon accepts no responsibility for:

  • Lost, damaged tickets or due to unforeseen circumstances that you are unable to attend / use.

  • Technical failures or errors beyond its control.

  • Any loss, injury, or damage suffered by entrants or winners in connection with participation in the raffle or the use of a prize.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a raffle ticket, entrants are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Ensure you comply with all legal requirements for raffles in the UK, including adherence to the Gambling Act 2005, and seek legal advice if necessary.
